Dr. Alvin E. Jackson, Sr. was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He was called into the ministry at the age of 18. He completed his secondary education in the Inkster Public School District. He is a graduate of the Union Baptist Seminary of Detroit, Michigan, were he received his B.A. in Religious Education and also a B.A. in Theology. In 2006, Dr. Jackson received a honorary Doctorate degree from Tennessee school of Religion.He is known to many as an influential male mentor; and one of the most approachable and compassionate men of his time. Dr. Jackson is the Pastor of Wings of Love Ministries, and has served faithfully for 29 years. He has received many awards and done several revivals in the city of Detroit and across the country. He is a Pastor that challenges his members to live a life of worship to God.
Mrs. Debbie R. Jackson (Lady J) iserves as the Facilitator of the Color Me Christian Children's Ministry, Vacation Bible School Instructor, Coordinator and Co-Instructor of the Marriage Ministry and Coordinator of the Women of Worship (W.o.W. Ministry) at Wings of Love Ministries. She also serves as the Church Administrator. She is an alumnus of Marygrove College, where she obtained her B.A. in Early Childhood Education, an M.A. in Education and just recently, a second M.A. in Educational Leadership. She is an elementary teacher at Hope Academy in Detroit. She tries to be a role model for everyone; especially to all young women she comes in contact with. Her wisdom is profound and her efforts towards advancing the kingdom are well needed. She is an intricate part of the ministry. However, most importantly she is a devoted woman of God.
Together, they are the parents of Minister Alvin E. Jackson, Jr. and Tiffani M. Jackson. They have two grandsons; Malachi and JaKari. They have been happily married for 29 years.
